How To Hand Paint Tile
3 Day Workshop
Learn everything you need to know about hand painting tile while all your tools, tiles and paints
are supplied, just show up, relax and have fun. You'll enjoy the weekend painting
a tile mural and return the following Saturday to for a fun presentation
of your fired
artwork before you take it home. No artistic skills are required, really!
If drawing isn't what you do best you have the option of learning how to transfer
designs. One on one attention will have you
learning quickly and feeling inspired having
learned the tricks of the trade!
This
exciting class will cover:
~ working with the paints (blending, brushstroke technique and
tools)
~ all about ceramic
surfaces and finishes that get you the most beautiful colors
~ firing techniques to bring you the most successful results possible.
~ create custom colors with mixing technique
~ preparing tiles, drawing designs, transferring patterns
~ how to incorporate borders for depth and perception
~ layering paint for special effects and much, much more.

studio painting an 18" by 18" tile mural. You will
