The easiest way to calculate  how many tiles you will need for the area you want install the tile is to 
 follow these easy steps: 

  1. Determine the square feet by measuring the area to be tiled.   Height x Width= Square Footage.
  2. Decide what size of tile you wish to use.  Visit tile shops or home improvement stores to get an idea what's available.
  3. Refer to the table below, find your tile size  to see how many  tiles you will need per square foot.
  4. In order to get the total amount of tiles you will need,  multiply the number you got from step #3 by your total square footage.
